6/7 Team- Human Ecology and Mathematics
Eric grew up journeying back and forth between New Hampshire’s White Mountains and his home near the coast. He proceeded to inch his way up the Atlantic shoreline, first to Bowdoin College where he studied Anthropology and Environmental Studies. During these four years Eric somehow found himself whitewater raft guiding, building wooden boats, and leading backpacking trips in Colorado, Alaska, and Switzerland. After college he moved north again to enter the field of education as a Math Teaching Fellow for Maine Coast Semester at Chewonki, where he was most often seen playing music with students and other faculty. His move west to the Wood River Valley is certainly a deviation from his northward trajectory, but Eric is beyond excited to be at The Sage School.
